The Brotherhood of the Holy Face announced and blessed this Sunday the offerings made by the youth group of the brotherhood. The decorations, made of gilded sterling silver, feature inlays of white cubic zirconias and purple amethysts, designed and executed by Goldsmith Bernet. The corporation deeply thanked the commitment and dedication of the young people who made this exciting project possible.
During the day, the moment the decorations were unveiled before the priest and counselor was shown. Additionally, the new cloth for Saint Veronica was presented, an oil on linen work by Cordovan painter Rafael Cervantes, whose face is inspired by the image of the Most Holy Christ of the Vera Cruz of las Cabezas de San Juan (Seville), by Juan de Mesa.
The donation of the suit of lights of the dancer Antonio Mondéjar was also made effective, delivered by his sister María Auxiliadora to the brotherhood. During the weekend, Our Father Jesus of Nazareth was available for veneration under the presbytery of the Parish of the Trinity, accompanied by Saint Veronica.
The decorations feature the letters J, H, and S, as an acronym for Jesus Man Savior. This new heritage element is notable for its curved design and baroque ornamentation, contrasting with blazing and straight rays on the back. The combination of curved and straight elements defines the identity of these decorations that add to the heritage of the Brotherhood of the Holy Face.
